FAQ
Content updates cover any changes to your site's existing pages and structure. If it's already built, we can update it. Here's what that includes:
Text — additions, edits, deletions, or archiving. This includes adding news, events, announcements, or any copy changes across the site.
Images & graphics — swapping, adding, or removing photos, graphics, charts, and background visuals.
Pages — adding new pages using your existing design, or deleting and archiving pages you no longer need.
Navigation — straightforward menu changes: adding, moving, or removing items.
Documents & downloads — adding or removing PDFs and other downloadable files.
Videos — inserting, replacing, or removing a pre-edited video.
Links — adding, updating, or removing links. We also catch and fix broken links and 404 errors as part of routine maintenance.
Content updates don't include new page designs, custom functionality, or structural site changes — those fall under development work. If you're unsure which category your request falls into, just send it over and we'll let you know.
Development hours are applied to your site each month based on your plan. If you've submitted update requests, we handle those first. If updates require more time than your plan includes, we'll contact you before proceeding.
When no requests are pending, we put those hours to work proactively — but what that looks like depends on your plan:
Essential — we focus on technical hygiene: checking site speed, resolving broken links, and ensuring plugins and integrations are running cleanly. Low-risk, behind-the-scenes work that keeps your site stable.
Plus — in addition to technical upkeep, we identify one meaningful improvement each month — whether that's an on-page SEO tweak, a UX adjustment, or a conversion-focused change. We document the recommendation in your monthly report and implement it once confirmed.
Business & Enterprise — each month we prepare a short improvement brief outlining what we propose to work on and why. You review, approve, and we execute. This gives you full visibility and strategic input into how your development hours are used. All proactive work is logged and described in your monthly report — so you always know exactly what was done and what it's intended to achieve.
